LAS VEGAS – Sage Summit 2014 (July 29, 2014) – Sage North America today announced integration between two of its construction solutions, Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, with Sage Payment Solutions. The integration provides contractors with a one-stop shop for payments. Whether it’s accepting checks, credit cards, debit cards, or mobile payments, Sage Payment Solutions allows contractors to manage them all in one place for easier reporting and reconciliation.
“I first saw the integration between Sage 100 Contractor and Sage Payment Solutions online in a training class and was immediately excited to try it,” said Linda Comin, office manager at Greenstreak Landscaping Inc., a landscaping company located in Gilroy, CA. “We had been accepting credit cards through another vendor for several years before using Sage Payment Solutions, but with the new integration with Sage 100 Contractor, we not only save time by eliminating the data double-entry, but also save money too. It’s quick, easy, and all in one system.”
Contractors using Sage 100 or Sage 300 with Sage Payment Solutions can speed up collection and processing of payments for improved cash flow and securely store payment information for PCI compliance, eliminating the risk of fraud and fines. The integration also provides contractors with the flexibility to accept customers’ multiple payment preferences anytime and anywhere.
Jon Witty, vice president and general manager of Sage Construction and Real Estate, discussed what helps differentiate Sage in the construction software market this week at Sage Summit. “Sage Construction and Real Estate customers benefit from the broad portfolio of Sage products, which allow Sage to address key business needs by bringing in products such as Sage Payment Solutions,” said Witty. “Streamlining payments and accounting solutions frees up a contractor’s time and provides peace of mind so one can focus on running and growing the business.”
The upcoming release of Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate will feature several enhancements in addition to the integration with Sage Payment Solutions, including additional state-certified reporting and compatibility with the latest operating systems. Key enhancements to Sage 100 Contractor include convenient desktop shortcuts, an expanded list of state-certified reports and an update to the Canadian version of the product. New features in the Canadian version include EFT updates to allow Sage 100 Contractor to communicate using the 005 Standard accepted by a majority of Canadian banks, the Recapture Input Tax Credit (RITC), and vacation accrual designed for Canadian payroll.
