IRVINE, Calif. (September 12, 2013) – Sage North America today announced that Pinnacle Construction Support Group, Inc. (Pinnacle/CSG), a full-service general contracting, design/build, and construction management firm, uses Sage construction and real estate software to win one-third of its bids. Pinnacle/CSG, headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, with projects throughout the southeast and in California, uses Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (formerly Sage Timberline Office) along with Sage Estimating, cloud-based Sage Construction Anywhere, and other Sage business management solutions to streamline operations, boost efficiencies, facilitate communication, and increase productivity.
Pinnacle/CSG implemented Sage 300 nearly eight years ago and has continued to routinely introduce Sage updates and new capabilities to meet the company’s evolving needs. The result is a highly integrated solution that helps run all business areas within the company including accounting, job costing, human resources, business development, estimating and risk management.

The integrated functionality helps Pinnacle/CSG boost efficiency and minimizes the paper trail. Sage Construction Anywhere provides the field teams with immediate access to budgets, costs and documents on their iPhones, iPads and tablet PCs. Field teams can also submit and approve time worked in the field using mobile devices, which is then electronically shared with the back office to speed up job costing and payroll processes.
The firm uses Sage Estimating to create bids quickly and accurately. “It helps us to win about one-third of the projects we bid on,” says Jude Rosilien, estimator for Pinnacle/CSG. “We know, and the customer knows, that we are delivering a complete bid.”
“When a contractor can win one-third of its bids, it’s showtime,” adds McFarlane. “We attribute much of our bidding success to Sage Estimating.”
